WW2 British Fibre Rim Paratrooper Helmet With camouflage Net & 1942 Date. Rare example of the early fibre rim 'HSAT' - Helmet , Steel , Airborne Troops .
This helmet retains a good proportion of its original khaki rough textured paint to its shell & fibre rim which is still firmly affixed in place. A camouflage net is still in situ on the helmet & has been secured around the underside with a lace. Chinstraps are in excellent supple order. Interior of helmet has rubber pads remaining in very good condition. The leather headband is marked 'BMB' with size '7' & dated '1942' .
