Page 4 with entry ' GRANTED PARACHUTE BADGE APRIL 1944'. 'PARACHUTE' written across front of paybook. ' Private Hart jumped into Normandy on the eve of D-Day 5/6/44. On his Discharge Certificate at rear of book there is mention of his transfer from the Welsh Regiment into the Army Air Corps & his Campaign service as NW Europe from 5/6/44-3/9/44. Listed as Anti tank Gunner & Anti Tank Armourer on 6 PDR as well as medical jabs given on 23/5/44. Served 5 years & 210 days discharged 20th March 1945 as ' Ceasing to fulfil army physical requirements ' . Given 'Exemplary Military Conduct' grading .
